AS4 in IHE

MD stated that, together with IHE Europe, there is a process ongoing for creating a supplement to the IHE (international) specifications. In order to define how AS4 can be used for Healthcare transactions.

At a F2F IHE meeting in Oslo, the optimal choice on how to integrate AS4 in the IHE profiles was selected based on the presentation/elaboration of multiple alternatives.

SR asked if this covers both traditional messaging and document sharing. PVDE responded that it indeed covers XCA, XDR and XCPD profiles. The work is ongoing and a Supplement proposal for public comment is planned by May 2018.
