Call for proposals - 2011

The available budget for the 2011 Call is €56.87 million. Novelties of this year's call for proposals include an upfront screening of maritime proposals to avoid potential competition issues. Special environmentally-friendly maritime projects, inland waterway projects and rail projects with single-wagon loads are priorities in 2011.

The 2011 call attracted 50 applications, representing a total modal shift of 21.3 billion tonne-kilometres from the road to greener modes. The amount of grants requested amounted to € 68.2 million. The 19 successfully projects selected for funding represented a total budget of € 35.3 million out of a total budget of € 56.8 million.
