The list of critical infrastructures remaining for the 2017 call for proposals are: Communication infrastructure, Health services, Financial services.
The other 3: Water, Energy, and Transport have been covered by the 2016 call for proposals and are no longer open.
Meaning of practitioners
A practitioner is someone who is qualified or registered to practice a particular occupation, profession in the field of security or civil protection.
Applicants are invited to identify clearly which members of the consortium they consider "practitioners" in the specific context of their proposal, and to include a clear description of their respective role and added-value as practitioners.

A total of 36 proposals were submitted in response to this call:
- CIP-01-2016-2017: 36 proposals (indicative budget: 20 M€);
The evaluation of the proposals is planned to start by mid-September 2016 and will be closed by the end of December 2016. Applicants will be informed on the outcome of the evaluations before the end of January 2017.

A revised version of the Work programme has been adopted for 2016-2017 on July 25 2016. The main changes concern:
- New provisions on Open Access Data have been added for 2017 calls with an opening date on or after 26/07/2016.
- Topic long description has changed for CIP-01-2016-2017.
