Bridging the Border Among Decision Makers - How to move from Innovation to Implementation in healthcare ( 1.37MB)
What measures are needed to move from words to action when it comes to healthcare
innovation? Why don't we use the full potential of innovative working methods, new
technologies, cutting edge research or implement more modern ways of organizing care?
This session will address the obstacles preventing the broad implementation and use of
innovation in healthcare, and discuss possible solutions on how to create awareness and
ownership of the innovation agenda amongst politicians and high-level decision-makers in
the healthcare sector. Examples will be presented on how VINNOVA, the Swedish
Governmental Agency for Innovation Systems, now is working to enhance the use of Test
Beds, Innovation Procurement and Innovation Management in the Public Sector.
