EU Framework Programme Evaluation and Monitoring

Since 2000 the Commission as a whole has very significantly strengthened its commitment to evaluation and monitoring as part of the reforms for sound and efficient management. EC launches external evaluation of FP7

On 23 October 2014, the European Commission launched an external evaluation of the Seventh Framework Programme.

Professor Louise Fresco, President of the Executive Board of Wageningen University and Research Centre, The Netherlands, will chair the High-Level Expert Group. The Rapporteur will be Dr Andre Martinuzzi, Associate Professor at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.

The Commission is required to carry out an external evaluation of the Seventh Framework Programme two years after its completion. The external evaluation is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2015.

The final FP7 annual Monitoring Report covering the 7 years of FP7 implementation was published on 30 March 2015.
