Programme description

Main objectives

The main objective of the programme is to make the Kujawsko-Pomorskie region more competitive and innovative and to improve the quality of life of its inhabitants.

Funding priorities

The programme will focus on these main priorities:

  • Strengthening R&D activities of entreprises
  • Increasing the SME sector's productivity
  • Increasing the use of urban public transport
  • Improving transport accessibility in general
  • Improving access to health services
  • Promoting sustainable and quality employment and supporting labour mobility
  • Promoting social inclusion
  • Investing in education, training and vocational training for skills and lifelong learning

Expected impacts

  • Increase in enterprises' R&D expenditure as a share of GDP
  • Increasedshareof innovative enterprises to almost 13%inthe total numberof industrial enterprisesand enterprises inthe service sector
  • Increased numberof journeys on public transport per inhabitantin urban areasto148 a year
  • 65%share ofelectricity productionfrom renewable energy sourcesintotal electricity production
  • 80% of the population connected to sewage system
  • more than 5-fold increase in the percentage of differentiated municipal waste collected selectively to 50%
  • 75% of the children aged 3-4 years in pre-school education
  • support to more than 24,000 unemployed in their search for a job
  • support to more than 54,000 students to develop key competencies
