This publication contains information on EU-27, EU Member States and Candidate Countries, as well as on Iceland and Norway in the form of time series. The first chapter presents the principal components of the energy balance and the evolution of the main energy indicators since 2003. The second chapter presents trends in energy supply and consumption by type of fuel. Further details on the evolution of the use of each commodity are covered in chapters 3-7.
