The publication shows the impact of price changes for intermediate goods on downstream industrial activities. Output prices of the chemical industry are for example under the influence of its main material:petroleum. The activities covered are industrial activities, and therefore do not include primary activities such as agriculture nor downstream activities such as construction and distribution.
