MINIMUM WAGES 2005 Major differences between EU Member States - Products Statistics in Focus

This publication contains data on minimum monthly wages in the Member States of the European Union (MS), certain candidate countries (CC) and the USA (US). Across EU25, on 1 January 2005 the minimum wage ranged from 116 euros (Latvia) to 1467 euros (Luxembourg). In the candidate countries, the minimum wage was 72 euros in Romania, 77 euros in Bulgaria and 240 euros in Turkey.
