Statistical analysis of socio-economic costs of accidents at work in the European Union - Products Statistical working papers

Systematic information on costs of accidents at work is not available from administrative statistical data sources or regular surveys on health and safety at work in the EU. This publication presents a preliminary model to estimate these costs at EU level. The model is based on cost data from a specific questionnaire survey and administrative statistical data on numbers and characteristics of accidents at work and on labour costs.
