Animals used for scientific purposes

EU Member States national statistical reports (2014 and onward)

Article 54(2) of Directive 2010/63/EU requires that "Member States shall collect and make publicly available, on an annual basis, statistical information on the use of animals in procedures, including information on the actual severity of the procedures and on the origin and species of non-human primates used in procedures…".

Member States have provided the below links in which national statistical reports on the use of animals for scientific purposes are published. In some cases, the link directs to a page through which all available statistical reports can be accessed. In others, a separate link is made available for each published report.
