The Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union will organise a conference in Bruges, Belgium on 25 and 26 April.

The European Social Work Conference, taking place on 25 and 26 April, serves as a crucial platform for social workers, academics, and policymakers across Europe to gather and exchange valuable insights and experiences. This event emphasizes the importance of collective action and knowledge sharing in addressing pressing societal challenges such as climate change, migration, and digitalization.

The conference, developed in collaboration with numerous social work organizations and networks across Europe, enjoys support from the Flemish Minister of Welfare, Public Health, Family, and the Minister responsible for Poverty Reduction.

Hosted by the Department of Care of the Government of Flanders and the Flemish Platform Strong Social Work, the European Social Work Conference aligns with the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
