I. Intention of DP (Development Partnership) »IN-VALID-IN«
The intention of DP »IN-VALID-IN« is to find out the structures, which discriminate and exclude disabled persons out of working life or labour market, and at the same time to find out the needs and experiences of employers at employing disabled persons.

In DP »IN-VALID-IN« we will search for new possibilities for disabled persons for their access to informations, about their possibilities, rights and possible measures at employment.
Our DP should help disabled people in informing about employment possibilities and also employers with suitable information infrastructure and easy decision for employment of disabled persons.

II. BARRIERS (problems), with which were confronted disabled persons:
low educational level
lack of work experiences
unknowing of law possibilities (disabled persons / employers)
stigmatization of disabled persons at employment
unconnection of institutions
unstimulated measures of active employment policy, …

III. The initiative EQUAL represents the OPPORTUNITY (solution) for disabled persons:
with inovative informing form will be changed the stabilized mentalities and prejudices at employers
their social threatening will be reduced
the business (economical) reasons for employing of disabled persons will be set out
the image of the company, which is employing disabled people, will be performed, …

The DP »IN-VALID-IN« means creative cooperation of different partners (public institution, chamber, trade union and invalid company) for the reach of common goal – HIGHER INFORMING LEVEL OF DISABLED PEOPLE AND EMPLOYERS.

The Development Partnership (DP) »IN-VALID-IN« on the Podravje region is an innovation, because there is no stabilized practice of cooperation between public institution (Employment Service of Slovenia Regional Office Maribor), chamber (Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia Regional Chamber Maribor), trade union (Independent Trade Union Association Regional Organisation Podravje) and invalid company (OZARA d.o.o.). The innovations in DP will be especially process oriented, because they will be focused on new informing methods, partly also goal (establishment of the Information office) and containment focused (influence on system development support mechanisms for employment of disabled people respectively).

The DP »IN-VALID-IN« will be occupied with informing methods and accessions related to employment possibilities of disabled persons and employers. We will rise the influence and power of disabled people with information access and possible employing realisation within the project. That means, that with better informing also the influence and power of disabled person will be enlarged.
At the same time new ideas for informing methods building and information accesss for employers (higher incorporation level of disabled people into work field) will take shape.

The DP »IN-VALID-IN« will mean a creative cooperation of different partners to reach the common goal. The building relations inside the partnership are also a challenge to the local community to recognise its (local and international) interest. We take decisions by common consent inside the partnership on regular working meetings, the base for this are toleration and mutual partner confidence.

The Regional organisation of Independent Trade Union Association is acting as an organisation form on the regional level. We cover with our activities the district of administrative units: Maribor, Lenart, Slovenska Bistrica, Pesnica, Ruše and Ormož.
