The European Innovation Partnership on Smart Cities and Communities (EIP-SCC) brings together cities, industry and citizens to improve urban life through more sustainable integrated solutions.
This includes applied innovation, better planning, a more participatory approach, higher energy efficiency, better transport solutions, intelligent use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), etc.
The Invitaiton for Commitments has closed on 15 June. More than 350 commitments were submitted by around 2500 partners. See info graphic . On 15 September all commitments will be published on an online marketplace.
The first public draft of the Operational Implementation Plan , the operational annex to the Strategic Implementation Plan , has now also been published and gives a wealth of detailed examples for integrated smart city solutions.
