The LIME Assessment Framework (LAF) is an analytical tool that can help underpin the assessment of policy challenges facing Member States in raising growth potential. Building upon the results of an extensive literature survey, it systematically compares the performance of Member States in terms of GDP and twenty policy areas affecting growth, looking at both levels and changes, relative to EU15 as a benchmark. This involves the utilisation of scores calculated from quantitative indicators to lead to an assessment of relative performance. Additional information on country specific conditions and circumstances is an integral part of the LAF as a complement to the indicator-based assessment. There are two main outputs on LAF.
