The EU Aid Volunteers initiative will be officially launched in 2015, offering over 18 000 citizens the opportunity to join a humanitarian organisation around the world for a limited amount of time. A network of volunteers will be established to allow them to interact with and support each other before, during and after deployment. The initiative will also offer online volunteering opportunities for people both inside and outside Europe, to support those deployed in the field. Where needed, training will include office-based experience in a European humanitarian organisation.
The EU Aid Volunteers programme is currently at its third pilot phase. Once the official programme is launched, in the course of 2015, available positions will be regularly updated on this page.
