The best way to predict the future is to invent it.
Alan Key

In this interview, Sir Tim Berners-Lee, the inventor of the World Wide Web, presents his vision of a free and collaborative web. He discusses the importance of keeping the net neutral, the internet open and of equipping young people with the skills to program and understand the full potential of these tools (so as also to apply this to policy making). Sir Tim also highlights the need to have more “Social Machines” (like Futurium) for participation, and to make the most of the lessons that can be learned from them at an initial, experimental stage.
