State aid Scoreboard and other publications
Scoreboard: Report on State aid granted by Member States
The Scoreboard is the Commission's benchmarking instrument for State aid. It was started in July 2001 to provide a transparent and publicly accessible source of information on the overall State aid situation in each of the EU Member States and on the Commission's current State aid control activities. Until 2011, two editions were published each year: the spring edition focused on selected topics of State aid and the autumn update included State aid expenditure from the previous calendar year. Since 2012 only one edition of the Scoreboard is published each year

This Handbook gathers the main EU notices and regulations regarding State aid of relevance to national judges. It includes the Commission's Enforcement Notice, which aims at offering national courts practical support in their individual cases and explaining their role as defined by the EU Court. It also provides guidance on the principles concerning recovery of unlawful aid and the rules for the application of Article 108 TFEU.

This Handbook gives a concise overview of the aid possibilities for the SMEs as allowed by the Community State aid rules. It also includes measures covered by the Temporary framework for State aid measures to support access to finance in the current financial and economic crisis in its amended version of 25.02.2009.

- Vademecum on State aid rules, update of 30.09.2008
The Vademecum summarizes the main rules applicable to State aid control in a concise manner. The document is divided into two parts. The first, general part, provides a basic description of the notion of State aid. The second part consists of fiches on particular types of aid and their specific rules.
