New EU-Council of Europe youth partnership website

Visit the new website of the partnership of the European Union and the Council of Europe in the field of youth. The website aims to inform about the partnership and on how to get involved in youth projects.

 

Empowering young people in Europe

The photo exhibition "Empowering young people in Europe" organised by European Commission in co-operation with the governments of Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, was launched under the patronage of Commissioner Vassiliou last 19 June.

 

The review of Europe 2020 has been launched

The European Union's Strategy for long-term growth and job creation, Europe 2020, is under review. The Commission launched on 5 May 2014 a public consultation on the future of Europe 2020. This consultation will be open until 31 October 2014. All interested parties are invited to take part and make their views on Europe 2020 and its future development heard.

 

European Youth Event (EYE) 2014

If Europe's future was in the hands of its 90 million young people, what would they propose in order to make Europe a better place to live in? With around six million young people aged 15-24 unemployed in the EU today, what recommendations would young people address to policy-makers?
