Young people are making a big difference in Europe, and European Youth Week celebrates their achievements.
With the slogan "Shape it, Move it, Be it", European Youth Week will encourage young people to shape their future by participating in discussions on the future of EU youth policy. They will be inspired to move abroad with Erasmus+ and motivated to be part of the newly launched European Solidarity Corps which will help those in need.
During the week the spotlight will be on the inspiring stories of change-makers and their projects under Erasmus+ that encourage more young people to take part. Their stories will be celebrated, illustrating the human impact of the Erasmus+ programme. These are people who have brought about change in their community, inspired other people and developed innovative ideas. They have both changed their lives and the lives of others.
In Brussels, the European Commission will organise discussions on the priorities and instruments to be used in future EU Youth Strategies. The Commission has invited participants to these discussions to ensure the participation of a wide range of youth policy experts, Member States, youth workers, youth organisations and young people. Inspiring change-makers will meet Commissioner Navracsics, visit the European Parliament and share their experiences.
European Youth Week will include a broad range of events and activities organised in all 33 countries participating in the Erasmus+ programme by the Erasmus+ National Agencies for Youth.
