On 4-6 May, representatives from youth organisations from around Europe came together with national government representatives for the latest edition of the Structured Dialogue Conference as part of European Youth Week.

On 4-6 May, representatives from youth organisations from around Europe came together with national government representatives for the latest edition of the Structured Dialogue Conference as part of European Youth Week.

Summary

The conference was the culmination of the work of the National Working Groups on Structured Dialogue on youth issues, to which over 40,000 young Europeans contribute.

Structured Dialogue is the European Union's main tool to seek the views of young people.

Under discussion was how to best improve the Structured Dialogue process to guarantee that the views of young poeple feed back into policymaking at the national and European level.

Outcomes of the conference are being delivered directly to top decision-makers on youth issues in Europe.

Structured Dialogue

Structured Dialogues represent a rolling process of consultation with which all young people are actively encouraged to engage.
