2nd public workshop impact assessment for the revision of the Intelligent Transport Systems Directive

On 3 March 2021 (14:00-17:00 CET) the European Commission organised a workshop (videoconference) on the ongoing impact assessment for the revision of the Intelligent Transport Systems Directive (2010/40/EU). The workshop was well attended with over 300 registered participants representing a large variety of public and private stakeholders from across the EU and beyond.

2nd EU-ASEAN Workshop on Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS)

The second EU-ASEAN Workshop on Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) took place virtually from 27-28 April, with speakers and participants from the European Union (EU) and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), as well as ITS experts from both regions, present.

The workshop was an opportunity for both sides to exchange knowledge and experiences on ITS, and to discuss challenges and opportunities for ITS development in ASEAN countries.

On 15 December (10:00-13:00 CET) the European Commission organised a workshop (videoconference) on the recently started impact assessment for the revision of the Intelligent Transport Systems Directive. The workshop was well attended with over 220 participants representing a large variety of public and private stakeholders from across the EU and beyond.

Call for applications for the selection of members of the sub-group on Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems of the Commission Expert Group on Intelligent Transport Systems

The European Commission has set up a sub-group on Cooperative Intelligent Transport systems.

The group will support the European Commission in the implementation of the pilot on common EU-wide cybersecurity infrastructures and processes needed for secure and trustful communication between vehicles and infrastructure for road safety and traffic management related messages and to foster exchange of experience and good practice in the field of C-ITS.
