Amandine Henry

Biography

A French international footballer, playing as a midfielder. She has one the highest records for a team sports athlete.

She has an exceptional record with 12 national titles, six French Cup victory's and five Champions League titles.

Since 2017, she has captained the French national team and now has 92 caps. In 2020, she won the 1st edition of the French Tournament.

Yannick Agnel

Biography

Yannick AGNEL is a former French swimmer specializing in sprint and middle-distance (100 to 400 meters) freestyle swimming events.

He won 2 gold medals during the London 2012 Olympic Games in 200-meters freestyle and in the 4×100-meters freestyle relayb. He also became two-time World champion in 2013. On August 7, 2016, at the end of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, he announced his retirement from competitive swimming. He remains the World record holder for male 400-meters freestyle in short course and the European record holder for male 800-meters freestyle also in short course.

The goal of the 2 day is to make people #BeActive, discover some new sports and take a licence in a sports club. The event takes place 26-27 September 2020.

Throughout the weekend in the sports Village, the sports committees and the sports and health associations will introduce and initiate people to their sport. The objective is to promote the beneficial aspect of the practice of physical activity on our health. This event takes place 12-13 September 2020.

Across the country

Thanks to a partnership between the French Olympic Committee and the penitentiary administration, both aware of the major challenges represented by the diversification and development of physical and sports activities for all, 42 centres will organise some events in prisons throughout France on 16, 17 and 18 September 2020.
