It has become a tradition to open the Week together with the current presidency of the Council of the EU. This year Estonia welcomed the #BeActive community to kick off the Week in Tartu with a range of activities including cycling festival for children, events on healthy lifestyles and many other activities. Speaking in Estonia, Commissioner Navracsics just issued the Tartu call for a healthy lifestyle. Co-signed by Commissioners Andriukaitis and Hogan, the call sets out joint actions to promote healthy lifestyles.
