This partnership is an excellent example of how the Commission and the social partners can join forces to reach concrete results.
The European Partnership on Integration between the Commission and the social and economic partners was relaunched on 7 September 2020.
The Partnership was first signed in 2017 in order to
- enhance the early integration of refugees into the labour market
- ensure that integration benefits refugees as well as the economy and society at large and
- promote a multi-stakeholder approach.
Through this relaunch, the Commission and social and economic partners continue their joint commitment to the integration of refugees and migrants into the labour market and society as a whole, and also express their interest in exploring how to extend their dialogue and future cooperation in the area of labour migration.
