eHealth Week 2013 will take place in Dublin on 13-15 May under the title “Innovative Healthcare & Well-being” and will bring together two main events: the High Level eHealth Conference co-organised by the European Commission and the Irish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, and WoHIT (World of Health IT Conference & Exhibition) organised by HIMSS Europe.
After the 2012 European Year of Active Ageing and Intergenerational Solidarity, one of the main topics being discussed will be: European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing (EIP-AHA)
A series of sessions will focus on the Specific Actions proposed in the Strategic Implementation Plan of the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing. The sessions will present the likely activities envisaged in the context of the Specific Actions and will feature stakeholders who have already committed to their implementation. The sessions will aim at building capacity and promoting further stakeholder engagement, commitment and partnerships towards the implementation of the Specific Actions.
The event will gather important government and regional decision makers, industry partners and providers from across Europe.
