The European Alliance for Apprenticeships is a multi-stakeholder initiative steered by the European Commission. The originator of the pledge is solely responsible for implementing the actions outlined in the pledge.
|Types of organisation:||Companies and business organisations|
|Description:||Our pledge is very simple. It is to work with local, regional and international business and organizations to help in developing a sustainable apprenticeships system with high quality training as an integral offer to young people and to promote apprenticeships as a real and high-quality career pathway.|
Our pledge builds on the "Skills for Jobs" S4J Project initiative (a project implemented by Swisscontact) to help young people across Albania to develop skills and become more employable.
Rapsodia Restaurant- Slow food is one of the first pioneers to offer apprenticeships in Albania; already offering 20 apprenticeships. The company aims to increase the provision of high quality apprenticeships in Albania, to equip young people with valuable skills and work experience and enable them to start successful careers.
We will draw on examples of best practice in VET learning systems from Switzerland to benchmark our existing programmes and develop a scale up strategy that can be tailored to each of the regions in Albania to increase the attractiveness of apprenticeship as a route into work for young people across Albania.
