Description:

With our pledge, we intend to pursue the following goals:

  • QUALITY – contribute to monitor the impact of learning components of the apprenticeship schemes in our region in terms of competence assessment and adopted methodologies (mix of formal and non-formal learning opportunities); and support companies in adopting structured monitoring systems for the learning experience of the apprentices.
  • IMAGE – increase awareness and knowledge on the positive aspects of the apprenticeship programmes in terms of competences developed and employment performances, both in schools and among companies.
  • SUPPLY – increase the number of apprenticeship contracts among the client companies.

In order to achieve that, FORMA.Azione is going to continue and improve the activities listed below:

  1. Disseminate information on the apprenticeship contract and opportunities among the client companies – mainly SMEs – that are planning and/or implementing employment development plans.
  2. Prepare ad-hoc training materials on the apprenticeship programmes to be used during the module on “Contracts” delivered to each person selected for a traineeship (with possibility of fiscal benefits for the company if then employed).
  3. Reinforce the current partnership agreements for the supply of courses as part of the apprenticeship programmes and build up new partnerships at local, national and international level to increase the in numbers and quality the access to apprenticeship programmes.
  4. Monitor the typology of contracts adopted by companies after the traineeship period, as part of their employment development plans – taking into consideration the gender perspective and thus collecting gender-disaggregated data.
  5. Contribute to increase awareness on the apprenticeship programmes by participating in the events of the European Vocational Skills Weeks (edition 2018) and/or registering a dedicated event in the framework of the week to be organized in Italy.
  6. Promote the learning outcomes approach among the actors involved in apprenticeship programmes, also supporting companies in setting up relevant monitoring and assessment tools.
  7. Make a proposal for the adoption of the European Peer Review methodology for quality assurance.
Short company / organisation description:FORMA.Azione has started its activity in 1997 as Association of Professionals and Consultants, specialised in Vocational Training Services and Adult Learning. In 2005, it was turned into a limited company. It is an Accredited Regional Training Centre since 2003, ISO 9001 certified since 2002, for designing and provision of vocational training services; and accredited for apprenticeship since 2016. It has developed strong relations with local public authorities, private companies, schools and other VET providers, by designing and providing training pathways, mostly financed by ESF, at local and regional level.
Its mission is to create concrete opportunities for the professional and social development of the target groups, to improve access to training, in particular for low skilled workers, young and elderly people and women, to support career and individual guidance to encourage self-consciousness in managing careers and active ageing, to promote women’s access to and participation in all levels of the labour market also by combating gender stereotypes in vocational training, career selection and professions.
Since the beginning more than 9500 learners have been trained towards different professional profiles and systems of competences and around 500 teachers and trainers have provided courses.
It has been responsible for the learning activities of over 100 apprentices working at COOP Centro Italia, acting as intermediate organization between the funding authority and the employer.
As FORMA.Azione the specific competence lies in the Training Cycle (Training needs analysis, designing, provision, administration and financial reporting, evaluation and review) and it operates in different economic and professional sectors, by cooperating with experts and practitioners in the fields. Particular focus is given to creative and culture industries (CCIs), quality assurance in VET and adult learning, environmental protection and renewable energies, gender equality, career guidance for youth and adults at risk of marginalisation.
It has a strong international expertise on Quality Assurance, thanks to the initiatives developed on the European Peer Review methodology.
