Description:

Youth Employment, Education and Training is one of our key priorities, which includes apprenticeships. London is second from bottom with 32,410 apprenticeship starts August to April 2014/15 (provisional). We seek to improve this figure by supporting practitioners with practical events, and sharing good practice. For example we are holding an Employer Engagement event on Monday 28th September http://www.partnershipforyounglondon.org.uk/event/employer-engagement-in-youth-employment/ (please share)

We have also undertaken an Erasmus Plus funded exchange to Germany to examine vocational education to improve practice. http://www.partnershipforyounglondon.org.uk/project/from-school-to-work-in-london/  (please share)

We also seek to highlight youth employments and apprenticeships as a key area for policy makers to focus on with our campaigning and lobbying focus– with a Who Stands for Youth.  We will also publish reports to support all our work.

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me to provide more information. Our work is extensive.
