IBERDROLA has joined the 2013-2016 Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship Strategy' launched by the Spanish government. The agreement was signed by the Minister of Employment and Social Security, Fatima Bañez, and the chairman of the IBERDROLA Group, Ignacio Galan, during a ceremony held at the Company’s Campus in San Agustin de Guadalix (Madrid).
Under this agreement, IBERDROLA will draw up an Action Plan aimed primarily at promoting the hiring of young people looking for their first job, both apprentices and graduates, offering complementary training to make it easier for disadvantaged groups to enter the labour market and boosting indefinite employment contracts.
The Company will also strengthen its collaboration with universities to encourage work placements, promote language learning among its employees and maintain its commitment to pioneering initiatives to help its employees balance their work and personal lives.
