The European Alliance for Apprenticeships is a multi-stakeholder initiative steered by the European Commission. The originator of the pledge is solely responsible for implementing the actions outlined in the pledge.

Description:Xarxa FP pledges to work with its members to promote and increase the number, quality and attractiveness of apprenticeships, and more specifically, to enhance mobility opportunities for apprentices.
Xarxa FP is committed to:
  • Facilitate the sharing of best practices and latest research results among its members;
  • Encourage and accompany members to participate in Erasmus+ projects and other EU related initiatives with regards to improving the quality of apprenticeships and developing high-quality mobility projects to increase students’ and staff mobility;
  • Promote the EAfA work through the network’s communication channels, including the website and social media, giving visibility to it and its progress among other relevant European stakeholders and Xarxa FP membership.
Short company / organisation description:Xarxa FP is a European network gathering 23 cities from 9 different countries working together on Vocational Education and Training Mobility, Innovation and Policy. The network’s main focus is to arrange work placements for VET students and trainings for VET teachers in European cities members of the network, mostly through the Erasmus+ programme. Every year around 300 young European students and hundreds of VET staff participate in mobility training actions. Established in 1999, the network also develops and participates in innovative VET projects and strategic partnerships.
