Topic Description

Semicondutor Process, Equipment and Materials' objective is to reinforce European manufacturing position by gaining leadership in processing know-how for advanced and beyond CMOS (More Moore, MM), heterogeneous (More than Moore, MtM) and System in Package (SiP) technology.

More in concrete, the aim is to  support the complete European value chain in process technology, materials and manufacturing equipment to realize advanced next generation devices as innovative products and as well to establish pilot lines in MM and MtM and supporting test beds to accelerate the uptake of KETs covering all essential aspects for short time-to-market (cost-efficiency, standards, test, etc.) in front and back-end wafer processing, device packaging and assembly.

5. Indicative timetable for evaluation and grant agreement:
Information on the outcome of two-stage evaluation: maximum 5 months from the final date for submission, and for successful proposals a maximum of eight months period from the deadline for the submission of complete proposals until the signature of grant agreements.

8. Open access must be granted to all scientific publications resulting from Horizon 2020 actions, and proposals must refer to measures envisaged. Where relevant, proposals should also provide information on how the participants will manage the research data generated and/or collected during the project, such as details on what types of data the project will generate, whether and how this data will be exploited or made accessible for verification and re-use, and how it will be curated and preserved.
