The European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) provides funding to the fishing industry and coastal communities to help them adapt to changing conditions in the blue economy sector and become economically resilient and ecologically sustainable. It is one of the five European Structural and Investment (ESI) funds that helps deliver the objectives of the reformed Common Fisheries Policy (CFP) and that supports the implementation of the EU Integrated Maritime Policy (IMP). THE EMFF 2014-2020 has a planned budget of EUR 6,400 million and EASME manages EUR 340 million under direct management actions.
