In light of the COVID-19 outbreak and the difficulties applicants may have experienced in submitting their proposals, the Commission has decided to:
- Extend the RISE 2020 call deadline by two weeks, until 12 May 2020, 17:00 Brussels time.
- Request letters of commitment from partners only at the Grant Agreement Preparation phase – and only from those proposals selected for funding or put on the reserve list.
These measures will allow applicants to submit high-quality proposals by the new deadline.
All relevant information is published under the COVID-19 outbreak: latest H2020 calls deadlines updates and Funding Updates pages of the European Research Area (ERA) Corona Platform.
The 2020 RISE call for proposals is now open. Organisations such as universities, research centres and companies that want to offer a short-term exchange to their staff can now apply on the Funding and Tenders Portal.
If you need advice for your application, please contact the National Contact Point (NCP) in your country (select "Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions" to find the NCP) or consult the recently released “Guide for Applicants".
Funded under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions and with an overall budget of €80 million, the RISE programme promotes cross-border and cross-sector collaboration between research and markets across Europe and beyond.
