The European Researchers' Night, funded under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions, is a Europe-wide public event to enhance researchers' public recognition and to stimulate interest in research careers, especially among young people.

Any legal entity in the EU and in the 16 countries associated to Horizon 2020 may apply. As 2018 is the European Year of Cultural Heritage, applicants are encouraged to include activities related to cultural heritage.

The total budget has increased from  €8 million to €12 million.

It is possible to fund pre-events during spring and summer. The pre-event(s) may be new or based on science dissemination events  organised by the coordinators in the past. However, in the latter case, they need to be fully integrated in the proposal.

All the information can be found on the Horizon 2020 Participant Portal.
