Journalist, moderator, innovator

Born in 1963. Studied political science and Press Science at Lund University, Sweden and journalism at Skurup School of Journalism 1983-1986. 1993 she attended Channel 7´s TV-education in New York and in 2011 the Natural Step-education in Stockholm.

Catarina has worked as a freelance journalist since 1991 after having worked at Swedish newspapers the first years of her career. She has worked out of Sweden, New York and Singapore and is currently based in Malmö, Sweden where she runs her company Rolfsdotter AB.

Catarina´s major work is writing freelance articles and moderating conferences, preferably in the field of sustainability. She moderates for the Swedish government, the EU Commission, municipalities and the major businesses. Sustainability – from the micro to macro perspective - is her specialty and she has written ten books in this field, her latest – a novel – will be published this summer.

She has recently been the program host of a Swedish national TV-program called Arga doktorn (The angry doctor) about the health care system.

Catarina has a background as a top athlete and has an education as fitness trainer and yoga instructor. She has been teaching yoga for ten years.

In 2011 Catarina designed the first outdoor gym that also is a sculpture – City Art Gym - and has formed a company around her idea, City Art Gym AB. She is currently working on another product that she has innovated, also with focus on health
