I studied Physics at Imperial College London, graduating with an MPhys in 2000. I then worked for 6 months as research assistant at the Institute of Astronomy (IoA) in Cambridge, and then another 6 months as a Young Graduate Trainee at the European Space Agency (ESA)’s research centre in Noordwijk (Netherlands).
I returned to the IoA for a PhD, graduating in 2004, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship, also at the IoA. In 2007 I took up a lectureship at the University of Exeter, and moved to Oxford in 2010.
I now lead a small research group consisting of 2 postdocs and 4 graduate students.
