How does coaching work?
A Key Account Manager from the Enterprise Europe Network will be assigned to all small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) funded under the EIC pilot. It will be the Key Account Manager's job to find a coach for the company.
The Key Account Manager will visit the company and analyse its needs. Then, they will propose a shortlist of candidate coaches. The final selection of coach is up to the company.
User testimonials - coaching
"Wolfgang's approach to our company made us change immensely the strategy for the better. We have also engaged in fruitful discussions with potential partners as part of his network." Manuel Nina, Smart Separations.
"The experience with the business coach was excellent. The coach provided help for our project from the internationalisation point of view. Coaching was one of the best outcomes that we got from the SME instrument." Carmelo Simón, Urbana de Exteriores.
The EIC pilot offers mentoring to CEOs and founders of SMEs.
Mentoring aims to develop leadership skills such as resilience, tenacity and strategic insight.
The mentoring scheme involves one-to-one meetings with an experienced entrepreneur who will share his/her expertise and provide guidance and support.
The mentors are CEOs of businesses that have moved beyond the start-up stage.
Mentors and SMEs will be matched via the EIC pilot Community Platform, during EIC pilot events and via other suitable channels.
