What: On 26th March 2014, the Directorate General for Research and Innovation is organising the conference The Ocean of Tomorrow projects: what results so far?
This conference will be a unique opportunity to give visibility and showcase first results of four ambitious and multi-disciplinary projects with a focus on understanding, mitigating and adapting to changes in the marine environment. Two projects dealing with the sustainable exploitation of marine biodiversity will also be showcased.
The event will include a panel discussion with high-level experts to take stock and put forward their views concerning how the projects' results could provide sustainable answers also to the societal challenges identified in the Horizon 2020 programme (2014-2020).

Due to Barack Obama's visit to Brussels on 25 and 26 March, traffic (cars/buses/taxis) will be heavily affected and most routes deviated. We advise you to use the Metro to MADOU (line 2 or 6) or take the train from the Brussels airport.
