Programme description

The programme “Comunidad Autónoma de Galicia” has a volume of €391 million, of which €313 million come from the EU budget. It aims to improve the participation in the labour market, including the promotion of self-employment, improve the quality of employment and facilitate labour inclusion of disadvantaged persons and reduce early school-leaving.

Expected impacts

  • Training activities aiming at improving the employability of unemployed persons should allow around 12,425 participants (including long-term unemployed) to obtain training in ICT, adequate training for employment in sectors with good employment forecast and official training certificates "certificados de profesionalidad"
  • Hiring incentives to promote stable employment or traineeships should allow over 7,500 unemployed participants to access the labour market
  • Individualised integrated pathways and hiring incentives should allow over 21,000 disadvantaged persons to benefit from the programme
  • Start-up grants and hiring incentives for social economy enterprises should allow hiring over 300 persons with disabilities and almost 350 unemployed participants
  • Under the priority on access to services, €7 million are earmarked for improving the accessibility for the most disadvantaged persons to health and social services, guidance, training and education
  • More than 10,000 participants in initiatives for combatting early-school-leaving-should pursue a qualification
