Cooperation with Regional Offices

További eszközök

Regional offices based in Brussels are important interlocutors and multipliers for regional policy matters. The community of accredited offices is therefore regularly invited to exchanges with the European Commission’s directorate-general for regional and urban policy. From July 2019, this cooperation is organised in two different formats, hosted by the European Commission.

Information sessions for regional offices

These quarterly meetings are designed for specialists interested in discussing matters related to the planning and implementation of cohesion policy. Topics are chosen based on the needs of regional offices and political priorities of the Commission. Each session is repeated once with identical content to accommodate a maximum amount of participants. The sessions are held in English without interpretation.

Participation & Registration

All sessions are by invitation only. The invitation is sent to all regional offices accredited by the Brussels Capital Region. For both formats, the participation is limited to one representative per regional office.

To request updates in the mailing list, please contact us.

Registration is mandatory and closes one week before the event. Places are confirmed on a first-come, first serve basis. In case of cancellations, the registration (for newly available places) might be re-opened. For sessions in Commission premises, please consider that security checks might take time and require a valid ID or badge.

Co-hosting an information session

Information sessions usually take place in Commission premises. However, there is also a possibility for regional offices to co-host sessions, provided they can offer a meeting venue (capacity of around 100 persons) free of charge. Interested offices are invited to contact us.
