Additional tools

The construction of provincial road number 764 is set to be combined with the crossing over the Vistula, with the route located in the Podkarpackie and Świętokrzyskie regions. The road has been divided into two sections: Połaniec – Gawłuszowice and Gawłuszowice – Tuszów Narodowy. In total, 14.17 km of new regional road is being built, with 0.67 km being reconstructed. Aside from the bridge and road 764, the project also involves upgrading or building bus bays, the construction of access roads, culverts, as well as four other bridges and environmental protection facilities. Once completed, the road and the bridge will be public and toll-free.

Area accessibility

The new road will improve the accessibility of the area and thus enhance the economic and investment attractiveness of the regions. In terms of savings per year, in 2015 (the first full year of operation of the investment project), it is estimated that EUR 534 493 will be saved on passenger transport and EUR 5 597 003 on freight transport.

The project will improve the quality of connections of Eastern Poland with the national and European transport network. Moreover, the implementation of the project is expected to create 27 jobs.
