Parallel working groups

A. Maximising the impact of programme launch events

OP launch events have two main purposes: to inform potential beneficiaries of the new funding opportunities and to reach the local and regional media. Participants will exchange experiences of successful past launch events and share ideas for forthcoming ones. The most relevant ideas will be collected and shared.

B. Empowering beneficiaries to become Regional policy ambassadors

What can the Managing Authority do to help the beneficiary communicate? Case studies from the UK, the ESIF publicity guide for England, by Rob Martell, Marketing and Communications Manager, Department for Communities and Local Government PDF ; and the EU Neighbourhood Info Centre, by Kosta Pavlowitch, Team Leader and Francesca Predazzi, Deputy Project Leader of the ENPI info centre PDF.

C. Communication priorities for 2015

This workshop will be an opportunity to compare notes on specific communication priorities for next year.  How are you planning to promote the 2014-2020 Operational Programmes?  Do you have any events planned around Europe Day in May?  How will you be celebrating 25 years of European Territorial Cooperation (Interreg), including European Cooperation Day in September?  Working in small groups, participants will share experiences, discuss common challenges and identify areas where common efforts, or even joint activities, could be beneficial.
