Main objectives
The programme aims at sustainable growth through a concentrated set of interventions that, in their particular regional context, focus especially on the promotion of entrepreneurship and SMEs as well as promotion of innovation, digital accessibility and low-carbon solutions.
Funding priorities
- Promote entrepreneurship as well as employment, growth and added value in SMEs
- Develop the region's innovation system
- Deploy very high-speed broadband network as an important condition for accessibility and competitiveness in the region
- Decrease CO2 emissions and promote the use of renewable energy in SMEs as well as stimulate research and innovation for low-carbon technologies
Expected impacts
- 4,118 enterprises receiving support
- Employment increased by 1,795 full-time equivalents in the supported enterprises
- 250 enterprises cooperating with research institutions
- 90% of enterprises have access to very high-speed broadband
- Increased net turnover in SMEs in general and low-carbon sector SMEs in particular
