Celebratory launch of ANTARES Teaming Phase 2 Project in Serbia

A Centre of Excellence will be developed in Novi Sad, Serbia thanks to €14m from the European Commission and a €14m Loan agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the Council of Europe Development Bank for the ANTARES Teaming Phase 2 project. The University of Novi Sad and Stichting Wageningen Research (NL) will combine their knowledge on ICT and agriculture to provide innovative solutions for the agricultural sector. This partnership enables transnational exchange of expertise, will strengthen the competitive positions of both institutions and provide answers to challenges that go far beyond borders of any single country. ANTARES helps to bridge the research & innovation gaps in Europe through research and innovation, while at the same time contributing to safe and adequate food for future generations.
