The European Commission built this website in order to:

1. Inform people about the policy related to the European Union’s funding Programme for Research & Innovation, Horizon 2020 and the activities of European Commission in this field;
2. Broaden the participation in Horizon 2020;
3. Promote engagement with and among stakeholders;
4. Create political understanding and support.

Who runs this site?

This website brings together content related to the Horizon 2020 programme with contributions from the following Commission departments:

Directorates-General for Agriculture and Rural Development, Climate Action, Communications Networks Content & Technology, Education and Culture, Energy, Enterprise and Industry, Environment, Joint Research Centre, Mobility and Transport and Research & Innovation.

and the Executive Agency, the European Research Council.

This website was built using an open source content management platform, Drupal managed by the Commission's Directorate General for Informatics.
