The seminars that were held allowed participants to get a whole set of useful informations on how to participate in decision-making, how and where they can make their comments, reviews, suggestions on different EU policies.Attention has also been put on intercultural dialogue so on the Friday evening presentations of the cultural heritage of partner communities were held to encourage citizens to get acquainted with the European diversible heritage and on the Saturday afternoon at the main square an international cultural show was held to bring as many indirect participants to get involved. It was opportunity to show how diversity is value and how it can bring people closer.During the event, project idea for partner organizations application for Programme Network of Towns was elaborated and a team was formed to work on it. Very interesting and stimulating was the discussion "I am European" where citizens from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina participated actively and argued why their states should enter the EU by 2025, since they have always felt and think like „Europeans“. Citizens from 9 countries, of which two are not EU members, although different ages, gender and education, at the end of the meeting expressed their common desire to become more the Union of citizens in the future of the EU, less influenced by national divisions between member states, in order to achieve this highlight should be put on fundamental values EU was founded on.As key terms that emerge in almost all debates related to the future of the EU and on which citizens insist are: security, unity, solidarity, more equal development and expansion. Three days of the project event were covered by many public media who shared news about the Europe for citizens program that is already being implemented for the fourth time in Klanjec.
