Summary
Municipality of Kileler in Larissa, Greece and the Community of Pissouri in Cyprus, jointly signed the twinning protocol on 14/07/2018. The main purpose of the twinning is to strengthen the long-standing fraternal ties and the cultural identity between the Hellenism of Metropolitan Greece and the Hellenism of the long-suffering Cyprus. The core values represented by the signed protocol are friendship, cooperation and mutual awareness between citizens. Twinning can benefit both sides. Bringing together people from Greece and Cyprus is an opportunity to jointly address problems, exchange views and understand the different perceptions on any issue of mutual interest or concern. The twinning event took place from 29/08/2022 to 01/09/2022
