#ERASMUSDAYS 2019: find out how you can celebrate the Erasmus programme!
#ErasmusDays - millions of people, thousands of events!
Over 10 million people have benefited from the Erasmus Programme, enriching their life experiences, and helping build a more inclusive international community. From 10-12 October 2019, more than 3000 events will celebrate the success of the Erasmus programme in bringing together students and societies from all over the world.
Launched as an initiative of the Erasmus+ France National Agency, #ErasmusDays consists of a series of events organised by Erasmus+ National Agencies: ranging from conferences and exhibitions, educational games, concerts and sports gatherings.
This year, former participants and Erasmus+ programme players (educational and training institutions, companies, research centres, employment agencies, organisations and NGOs), will meet future beneficiaries of the programme in order to exchange views about European values and discuss the benefits of mobilities; they will also be able to highlight their projects’ achievements, and show the impact of Erasmus+ funding.
Last year, 1435 events were held in 39 European countries during #ErasmusDays, reaching an audience of over 116 million people.
This year, thanks to Epale National Support Services, the #ErasmusDays will be able to promote Erasmus+ opportunities in the adult education sector as well. A selection of Erasmus+ projects in adult education across Europe will be exhibited on the Epale digital platform.
All Erasmus Alumni are encouraged to celebrate Erasmus on social media platforms as well by using the official hashtag #ErasmusDays.
Erasmus Days will be launched at the European Parliament during a press conference chaired by MEP Sabine Verheyen.
