Erasmus+ in 33 snapshots
Photo competition celebrates 33 years of Erasmus+
1987: The Erasmus programme is born. Since then, it has helped more than 10 million students, pupils, learners and young people gain invaluable experience abroad and strengthen their skills. Now called Erasmus +, it has expanded into six different sectors in formal and non-formal education.
A photo competition was recently organised to celebrate the 33 years of existence and the diversity of Erasmus+ through a selection of 33 winning pictures illustrating he Erasmus+ landscape. There were more than 1,600 entries, from participants coming from over 70 countries.
All winning pictures were shown at the Université Libre de Bruxelles at last week's event 'Co-creating Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps'.
